Maharashtra partially rolls back single-use plastic ban

Maharashtra Government partially rolls back ban on single use plastic products plastic ban. And so, with certain restrictions, the government has agreed to permit all single-use compostable plastic goods, polypropylene bags with a minimum of 60 gsm. This permits production, storage, sale and distribution of straws, plates, cups, forks and spoons made up of compostable material.
